The orchestrator

A little about me

Before starting my business, I’d coordinated numerous educational forums – book readings, community meetings and panel discussions – for an environmental nonprofit. As the Special Events Manager for Women’s Initiative for Self-Employment (WISE), I led all creative and logistical details for the organization’s signature fundraising and donor cultivation events in its six local sites, as well as its offices in New York and Chicago. Highlights included the production of a nearly 900-person gala, several awards shows and fundraising luncheons throughout the Bay Area.
Having amassed plenty of experience producing non-profit events and realizing wedding and social event planning were my natural strong suits, I decided to go full time with Lily Spruce in 2012.

My team and I have since executed 60+ weddings. Lily Spruce’s past clientele includes:
• San Francisco Fashion Film Festival
• La Cocina (for which I produced a 2,000-person, night market styled event)
• As You Sow
• The Watershed Project
• Youth Enrichment Strategies (YES)
• Bayanihan House
• Bernal Heights Neighborhood Center’s Fiesta on the Hill, a street festival attended by up to 10,000 visitors.

I am an active member of the merchants’ association in Bernal Heights, the Bernal Business Alliance, and Business Network International (BNI)-Axis in San Francisco.

When not planning events, I dream about my next vacation, I comb flea markets and estate sales, and take in live music shows with friends. I’m always always looking for the next craft workshop to build new skills (vertical succulents, flower arranging, pottery wheel throwing!), and I like walking and bicycling throughout San Francisco, this beautiful city of my birth.

Also, ramen. If there’s a restaurant slinging noodles in fatty broth, you’ll find me there. (And you better share your favorite ramen place if you’ve got one!) And donuts, dear lord, donuts! Bob’s in SF is tops for her still. Tell us your favorite when we meet.
